You're Weak

Ugh. Sin is just destroying people right now.

Today in one of my classes, some kids were talking about sex (or something along the lines of it) and one kid goes, "You bet I'm abstinent, ****er." and he told his buddies how he used that as an excuse to get girls to have sex with him. And I thought, "You can you mock me like that? How can you mock GOD like that?" they preceded to talk about the subject and make some jokes here and there. I came to the conclusion that our generation is WEAK.

We're selfish.
We're disobedient.
We're manipulative.
We're drunks.
We're perverse.
We're lacking.

There's people who would fight for these things. There's people who are so caught up in these things, they would feel lost if they couldn't have them.

"What's wrong with it?"
It becomes an addiction.

"Well, I can control my addictions."
No. No, you can't. That's why they're called 'addictions'.

Step up and be real.

God...

...come save me and take me where I belong.

Make my words, Your words.
My thoughts, your thoughts.

Let my ears deafened to unholy sounds,
my mouth silenced to disgraceful talk,
and my eyes blackened to impure sights.

Don't ever let me be out of your grasps.
Don't ever let me be selfish.

Make me what you want me to be.

Today's Christians

It seems that a lot of Christians today just don't want to stand up. They want to sit back and avoid try to sin. But we're called for so much more.

We're called to be leaders.
Revolutionaries.
Men and Women of the Almighty God.
But we're afraid that we'll fall and fail miserably. So we don't even try. We even indulge in sin sometimes.

We have to be fearless.
We have to remember that Hell holds no power against us, but only when we let it.
Nothing can stop us but God Himself.

So what are we waiting for?
